Work permits

In order to work legally in Canada, one must have a valid work permit. To get a work permit, you must first be offered a job by a Canadian employer. Then, in most cases, this job offer has to be validated by HRSDC. Only after the job offer is validated can you apply to Citizenship and Immigration Canada for a work permit.
